Under the guise of tropical plants and exotic birds, Orane Sigal's drawings offer lessons in applied chromatics. The extreme luxuriance of her work overcomes a façade of realism to curl up on the side of abstraction. The Lyon-based illustrator, who studied at the renowned HEAR in Strasbourg, released her first children's album, Le Grand Voyage, with L'Agrume Édition, in November 2019.
