London cartoonist Liam Cobb is a comic-book man. His various releases with Breakdown Press(The Inspector) or self-publishing (lately The Prince) will prove it enough: this guy has a sense of narration. And between two long stories, to renew the air, he works on masterful compositions that he declines in posters and for which we spend our meagre pay. More than a recreation, these unique drawings are suspended moments between Moebius and Hiroshige, declarations of love to space, architectural or natural. Through his work with colour and his mastery of perspective comes his natural instinct for storytelling. As on our cover, where the simple movement of his robot comes to write a story all by itself.
