María Jesús Contreras' ultra-referential illustrations bring a tear of nostalgia to our cheek, when they're not drawing a slight smile on our face. With a restrained color palette and the finest humor, the illustrator has no equal for holding our attention. Since her studies at Chile's Pontifica Universidad Catolica, María has never ceased to be amazed by the details that make our world more exciting. The four riso posters in María Jesús Contreras' collection represent four stages of a road trip through the arid, storied lands of Utah, like a modern-day Thelma and Louise. This collection follows the publication of a puzzle in collaboration with Piece and Love.
