Forget monotony. Nolan Pelletier loves a lot of things, and if choosing is giving up, he's decided to keep it all to draw you into his maximalist, colorful and mystical world. A passionate collector of old books, retro advertising and printed paper of all kinds, he draws his inspiration from many directions. Historical references, architecture, mythological creatures, typography, the Victorian era and art deco, flora and fauna all combine to form a psychedelic, timeless and turbulent effervescence. His illustrations capture an artisanal rendering, although he uses virtual brushes and digitized textures to reproduce those material effects he loves so much. A well-honed method that enables him to offer us an infinite patchwork of visual stimuli, with black lines filled with acid colors. In fact, he's very successful at spreading his instantly recognizable vision: his illustrations can be found on posters, the covers of iconic books and newspapers, and even on the catwalks, on clothes and accessories. As you can see, with Nolan Pelletier, too much is never enough.

Cher petit Poissons, on sait à quel point c’est difficile pour toi de faire des choix, mais au fond, on voit bien que c’est le cœur qui tient les commandes. Et en même temps, ça n’est pas étonnant, ton âme d’artiste et ton instinct sans faille ont su abandonner les faits au profit des ressentis. Oui, tu aimes soigner les apparences en donnant l’air de ne pas y toucher, comme si tu avais une mèche devant les yeux depuis la naissance, mais il faut arrêter d’attendre l’approbation de ton public imaginaire. Et ça n’est pas une raison pour pleurer. Ose enfin passer du rêve bleu à la romance véritable en séduisant une bonne fois pour toutes ce crush qui écrit de la poésie, le regard vague, absorbé par sa musique. Cliché ? Certainement pas, on sait tous que ta vie, c’est une série à l’eau de rose en 8 saisons et 2 reboots, parce que le normal, c’est pas ta tasse de thé. Non, toi tu veux rêver, inventer, essayer et recommencer. Quelque part entre ta nostalgie perpétuelle et tes projets fantasmés du futur, il y a maintenant, et maintenant, t’es super.
