THE ARTIST
Manon Diemer is no slouch when it comes to depicting the dazzling beauty of nature. An artist of feeling and pure air, she uses all the meticulousness in the world to transport us to the real or imaginary landscapes she constantly visits. The extreme precision of this former student of the Parisian Gobelins is not the only means by which she makes our spirit escape. La Rochelaise doesn't hesitate to borrow tricks from photography - which she practises assiduously - to reinject them into her compositions with their intricate framing and radiant light. It would be a shame not to succumb to this artistic proposal, which seems to whisper the sweet melody of a fantastic escapade at every turn. And we're soon humming along.
