KIBLIND Atelier
Since 2017, KIBLIND Atelier has been extending the magazine's artistic project through the publishing and production of posters, books and illustrated objects, drawing on a selection of talented artists from the four corners of the world and using printed know-how, particularly risography.
With its A3 posters printed in risography in its Lyon workshop, KIBLIND is committed to promoting the work of artists, while ensuring that their creations are fairly remunerated and their economic rights respected.
KIBLIND Atelier is also a gallery, an online boutique and a network of targeted distributors (over 200 points of sale worldwide, ranging from design and lifestyle temples like Fleux in Paris and the Centre Pompidou bookshop, to independent boutiques like Bref et Paperole in Montreal, Artazart in Paris, Cuemars in London, Wildflower in Taipei...).
Risography
An eco-friendly artistic technique

Invented in Japan in the 1940s, risography is a stencil-based, layer-by-layer printing technology similar to screen printing, using direct tones, i.e. pure colors with a luminous, intense rendering.
The riso prints cold (low consumption), on uncoated paper (less processed), with vegetable oil-based inks and no solvents. Part of the machine is made from recycled materials, and all consumables are collected and recycled in partnership with the Conibi organization.
Environmentally-friendly paper
All our risographs are printed on MUNKEN Print White 150g uncoated paper, made from ECF pulp and FSC and PEFC certified.
● MUNKEN Print White is a premium, naturally white paper that combines the most attractive properties of wood and woodfree papers. It offers optimized hand, strength, surface and printability for risography printing. Its puffy appearance ensures perfect absorption and luminous rendering of RISO's solvent-free, vegetable-oil-based direct-tone inks.
● The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) is an international non-profit organization that promotes the responsible management of the world's forests. FSC certification indicates that the product comes from environmentally friendly, socially beneficial and economically viable sources.
