As part of Lyon's Bourrage Papier festival, KIBLIND Atelier hosted an exhibition showcasing the work of some thirty guest illustrators and publishers. And for the occasion, the Atelier printed in riso 7 original creations by the 8 founding artists of the Bourrage Papier collective, who initiated the festival.

At a turn in a path strewn with pitfalls, the viewer emerged into a space that was still unknown. This luxuriance mingled with innocence, this natural world where nothing was hostile to him anymore: a sense of déjà vu took hold of his mind. Eden—damn it, of course! For this onlooker wasn’t seeing things; he simply found himself before the work of Camille Gobourg, who never ceases to transform her blank pages into the remnants of a lost paradise. By skillfully arranging shapes and colors, using paint like a caress, the Lyon-based artist offers the viewer both unexpected joy and an opportunity to finally be themselves. Like memories of a madeleine we’ve never eaten, Camille Gobourg’s works take us back to a future we never believed in. I can’t wait for yesterday.
