When the name of the iconic Hayao Miyazaki is mentioned, not one but a thousand images surround our imagination. En collaboration avec le Musée de l’Imprimerie de Lyon, nous avons invité 10 illustrateur·ices lyonnais·es à réinterpréter, chacun·e à sa manière, un film du maître du cinéma d’animation japonais. Le résultat : une collection d’affiches en risographie, imprimées à Lyon, entre hommage délicat au Studio Ghibli et échappée visuelle.

Laura Olivieri's illustrations are like a gust of wind. All of a sudden, we're blown away, transported to the other places she keeps drawing in her notebook. Small, vivid pastel strokes, skilfully measured colors, and we're off. We land in the middle of her grandiose landscapes or some lush natural setting.
