The Musée d'Orsay - Jisu Choi

€30.00 EUR

Because illustration has its place in museums, the Musée d'Orsay and KIBLIND are offering a collection of exclusive posters printed in risography by KIBLIND Atelier.

With the aim of initiating a timeless dialogue between artists of yesterday and today, French and international illustrators Manon Diemer, Mayumi Otero (Icinori), María Medem, Karlotta Freier, María Jesús Contreras and Jisu Choi were invited to reinterpret masterpieces from the Musée d'Orsay collections in the form of comic stories.

" The beauty of the Musée d'Orsay, both inside and out, gently sways with the ripples of the Seine, creating a shimmering night scene. " - Jisu Choi

THE ARTIST

Korean artist Jisu Choi's wildly rich drawings plunge viewers into a labyrinthine beauty. The percussion of color is complemented by the multiplicity of forms in a mosaic of objects, architecture and typography, where nothing stands in the way of harmony. These marvellous worlds adorn the covers of the Korean editions of Guillaume Musso, as well as the Adidas shop in Seoul.
