LION :
Sure, you've come to this earth in association with the most virile and vigorous animal on the Savannah, but is that reason enough to tell it to yourself every moment? Yes. Is the fact that Kate Bush, Barack Obama and Whitney Houston share the same sign as you another reason to have a hard-on? Yes. You don't need to expose yourself to the sun like the common people to secrete vitamin D. It's the spotlight that keeps you alive. Exuberant and charismatic, you parade through the streets of your city like your totem animal in the middle of its territory. Born with a rare gift from life called "self-confidence", you head straight for your goals, even if it means irritating a few people along the way. But one day, they'll realize that behind your big mouth, your pomp and your constant need to be the center of attention, lies a deep-seated need to be loved and validated by your fellow human beings. Come on, give us a hug, you big fool.

THE ARTIST
Forget monotony. Nolan Pelletier loves a lot of things, and if choosing is giving up, he's decided to keep it all to draw you into his maximalist, colorful and mystical world. A passionate collector of old books, retro advertising and printed paper of all kinds, he draws his inspiration from many directions. Historical references, architecture, mythological creatures, typography, the Victorian era and art deco, flora and fauna all combine to form a psychedelic, timeless and turbulent effervescence. His illustrations capture an artisanal rendering, although he uses virtual brushes and digitized textures to reproduce those material effects he loves so much. A well-honed method that enables him to offer us an infinite patchwork of visual stimuli, with black lines filled with acid colors. In fact, he's very successful at spreading his instantly recognizable vision: his illustrations can be found on posters, the covers of iconic books and newspapers, and even on the catwalks, on clothes and accessories. As you can see, with Nolan Pelletier, too much is never enough.
