Téo Transinne - Le Vent Se Lève - Miyazaki
When the name of the iconic Hayao Miyazaki is mentioned, not one but a thousand images surround our imagination. In collaboration with the Musée de l'Imprimerie de Lyon, we invited 10 illustrators from Lyon to reinterpret, each in their own way, a film by the master of Japanese animation. The result: a collection ofposters in risography, printed in Lyon, between delicate homage and visual escape.

Téo Transinne
For many years, Téo Transinne led a double life. Simple you-and-me by day, artist by night. His drawing was a hobby, something he taught himself in the interstices of his life. Then, what had been knocking on his door for years finally came out into the open. Today, the man from Lyon can wear the proud smile of a self-made man, and we, for our part, have the joy of admiring the images he builds with his colored pencils. And joy is not an empty word when it comes to peeking through these zooms on everyday life. Téo Transinne focuses on the little things that make the big things, and tenderly observes the neglected: with a half-open skylight, a puddle in the gutter and a broken window, he puts together the magnificent exhibition Chez soi. As usual, he needs little to give much.
