Dance at Le Moulin de la Galette (Auguste Renoir) - María Jesús Contreras

€30.00 EUR

Because illustration has its place in museums, the Musée d'Orsay and KIBLIND are offering a collection of exclusive posters printed in risography by KIBLIND Atelier.

With the aim of initiating a timeless dialogue between artists of yesterday and today, French and international illustrators Manon Diemer, Mayumi Otero (Icinori), María Medem, Karlotta Freier, María Jesús Contreras and Jisu Choi were invited to reinterpret masterpieces from the Musée d'Orsay collections in the form of comic stories.

“At the sight of the painting, I felt like listening to Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper. I imagined all these women partying together and singing this song: there's no deeper meaning than that, just a group of friends having a good time.” - María Jesús Contreras
