Hel Covell - If I could change back

Hel Covell lives in Yorkshire, far up in the north of England, always surrounded by her precious friends, real or imaginary. It is thanks to this little band of friends that, over the years of her young career, she has been able to defy the sometimes cruel world of freelance work and take up challenges as varied as they are exciting: painting arcade games for the V&A Museum in London, creating a children's book, working for a famous retail brand, making illustrations for a video game, etc. The apparent naivety of her drawing, the fragility of her line and her ability to humanize a whole host of strange beings make Hel Covell's illustrations sensitive and touching. One would almost feel like closing the curtains, and inviting all these little people to sit on the couch and drink hot chocolate with marshmallows while watching Miyazaki's complete works.
