Jeanne Saboureault - My Neighbor Totoro - Miyazaki
When the name of the iconic Hayao Miyazaki is mentioned, not one but a thousand images surround our imagination. In collaboration with the Musée de l'Imprimerie de Lyon, we invited 10 illustrators from Lyon to reinterpret, each in their own way, a film by the master of Japanese animation. The result: a collection ofposters in risography, printed in Lyon, between delicate homage and visual escape.

Jeanne Saboureault
Having spent time in Brussels, Jeanne Saboureault now lives in Lyon. A move that can only delight us, as we welcome her penchant for vivid colors, her sensitivity to the intimate and her expertise in the relationship between man and nature. The woman who can also be called JANO (after the children's project she started when she left school) feeds on immense landscapes as well as buried feelings. Rather than separating them, she makes them complements, elements of a greater whole that respond to and enrich each other. Her illustrations bear witness to this intermingling, combining humble line with visual explosion, the silence of meditation with the din of dazzlement. A drawing in the form of a union.
